Weekly report: France drives Peppol network growth as participant count rises by 157,276

From 13 September 2026 to 19 September 2026, the Peppol network recorded a net increase of +157,276 participants (2.1%). The total rose from 7,442,618 participants seven days ago to 7,599,894 at the end of the period.

Participants are distinct Peppol participant identifiers, not companies, and some countries register organisations under two identifier schemes.

France leads this week's country growth

France was by far the largest contributor to growth, adding +146,433 participants (3.9%) to reach a total of 3,930,355. France remained in first place in the country ranking, extending the lead it already held last week. It also recorded the fastest relative growth among countries with a base of at least 10,000 participants, at +3.9%.

Belgium posted the second-largest increase, gaining +5,156 participants (0.2%). Its total now stands at 2,140,212, and it remained second in the country ranking.

The United Arab Emirates added +1,821 participants (63.7%), bringing its total to 4,678. It climbed from twenty-second place last week to twenty-first place this week, the only rank change among the five countries with the highest participant growth.

Norway grew by +949 participants (0.2%) to 386,473 and remained fourth. The Netherlands added +665 participants (0.6%), taking its total to 114,961 while remaining seventh.
