Slovakia passes 25,000 Peppol participant milestone

Published November 5, 2026

Slovakia had 25,127 participants in the Peppol network as of 5 November 2026, taking the country past the 25,000 milestone.

The threshold was crossed during a period of rapid expansion in Slovakia's participant total. The country had 2,743 participants 30 days earlier, meaning the count increased by 22,384 over that period. This represented growth of 816%.

The latest figure establishes a new round milestone for Slovakia's presence in the network. The increase from 2,743 to 25,127 also shows that most of the participants included in the current total were added during the latest 30-day period.

The expansion comes as Slovakia prepares to introduce mandatory B2B e-invoicing. Slovakia is introducing mandatory B2B e-invoicing on a decentralised Peppol model, planned for 2027.

Participant totals refer to distinct Peppol participant identifiers, not companies. A single organisation can therefore be associated with participant identifiers, while the metric reported here is the number of identifiers recorded for Slovakia.

As of 5 November 2026, Slovakia's total stood above the 25,000 threshold at 25,127. The milestone follows the addition of 22,384 participants over 30 days, placing the recent expansion alongside the country's preparations for its planned B2B e-invoicing mandate.

Participants over time

Figures are based on the public Peppol Directory and SML/SMP infrastructure. Publication is not mandatory, so a provider or country may have more participants than are publicly listed. Methodology →
