Weekly report: France extends its lead as the Peppol network adds 111,210 participants

From 20 September 2026 to 26 September 2026, the Peppol network recorded a net change of +111,210 participants (1.5%). The total rose from 7,599,894 seven days ago to 7,711,104.
Participants are distinct Peppol participant identifiers, not companies, and some countries register organisations under two identifier schemes.
Countries with the most growth
France extended its lead with the largest increase this week. It added 96,916 participants (2.5%), bringing its total to 4,027,271. France remained in first place, with its ranking unchanged from last week.
Belgium recorded the second-largest increase, adding 4,637 participants (0.2%) to reach a total of 2,144,849. It remained second in the country ranking.
Malaysia had the fastest relative growth among countries with a base of at least 10,000 participants. Its total increased by 3,013 (17%) to 20,721. Malaysia remained in thirteenth place, unchanged from the previous week.
Denmark added 1,522 participants (2.1%), taking its total to 72,411. Its ranking was unchanged, and it remained eighth.
The United Arab Emirates gained 1,300 participants (27.8%) and ended the week with 5,978. It overtook Lithuania and climbed from twenty-first to twentieth place by participant count, the only ranking change among this week’s leading growth countries.
