Peppol weekly: France takes first place as network passes 6,000,000 participants

Between 2 August 2026 and 8 August 2026, the Peppol network added +287,116 participants, an increase of 4.99%. The total rose from 5,756,706 participants seven days ago to 6,043,822. Participants are distinct Peppol participant identifiers, not companies, and some countries register organisations under two identifier schemes.
France leads this week's country growth
France recorded the largest increase and moved into first place, overtaking Belgium by participant count. France added +281,878 participants, or 13.1%, to reach 2,430,392. It was also the fastest-growing country in relative terms among those with a base of at least 10,000 participants.
Belgium had the second-largest increase, adding +4,290 participants, or 0.2%, for a total of 2,114,189 and second place. The Netherlands followed with +542, a 0.5% increase, bringing its total to 111,366 and retaining seventh place.
Australia added +370 participants, or 0.1%, and now has 435,272 participants in third place. Singapore recorded a smaller increase of +199, equivalent to 0.3%, reaching 67,221 participants and ninth place.
