Peppol network adds 449,393 participants as France reaches first place

Overall network growth
The Peppol network grew by +449,393 participants (7%) between 23 August 2026 and 29 August 2026. The total rose from 6,436,729 participants seven days ago to 6,886,122.
Participants are distinct Peppol participant identifiers, not companies. Some countries register organisations under two identifier schemes.
Countries recording the most growth
France dominated this week's growth and now ranks first by participant count. It added +440,420 participants, an increase of 15.7%, to reach 3,247,495. France also recorded the fastest relative growth among countries with a base of at least 10,000 participants.
Belgium remained second after adding +3,781 participants (0.2%), taking its total to 2,124,507. Norway recorded the next-largest increase, gaining +1,458 participants (0.4%) to reach 383,894 and rank fourth.
Growth among the other leading countries was smaller. The Netherlands added +669 participants (0.6%) and now has 113,077, ranking seventh. Denmark gained +442 participants (0.6%), bringing its total to 70,537 and placing it eighth.
