France has passed the 3,000,000 participant mark on the Peppol e-invoicing network. As of 28 August 2026, the country had 3,081,046 participants, placing its total above the round milestone.
Participant count rises over the latest period
The French total stood at 1,967,052 participants 30 days earlier. It subsequently increased by 1,113,994, representing growth of 56.6% over the period. The figures show that France moved from below the threshold to above it within that interval.
The latest count provides a measure of France's scale on the network at the end of the period. It also captures the recent trajectory behind the milestone, with the increase taking the national total beyond 3,000,000 and to its reported level of 3,081,046.
The rise comes as France is phasing in mandatory B2B e-invoicing from 2026, routed through accredited PDP platforms on the Peppol network. This regulatory framework provides the context for the country's growing number of participant identifiers.
Participants are distinct Peppol participant identifiers, not a count of legal entities. A single legal entity may hold more than one identifier, so the participant total should be read as a measure of identifiers present on the network.
