Axway reaches 10th place among Peppol Access Point providers
Published September 2, 2026
Axway ranks in 10th place among Peppol Access Point providers by participant count as of 2 September 2026, ahead of Sovos Saphety in 11th place. The ranking measures participants routed via each provider.
Axway has 173,229 participants, representing 2.4% of the Peppol network by participant identifiers. Sovos Saphety has 164,728 participants and a 2.3% share. That gives Axway a current lead of 8,501 participants over the provider it passed.
The relative positions have changed within the last month. From Axway's perspective, the gap stood at -116,676 at that point, meaning it was then behind Sovos Saphety. The shift to a positive gap shows that the recent trend has moved in Axway's favour.
Axway's participant footprint is overwhelmingly concentrated in France, which accounts for 172,623 participants, or 99.7% of its total. A further 590 participants are based in Belgium, representing 0.3%. The distribution therefore characterises Axway as a predominantly French provider rather than one with a broadly international participant base.
In these figures, participants are distinct Peppol participant identifiers routed through each Access Point, not companies. Market shares are likewise calculated by participant identifiers.
The latest standing places Axway immediately above Sovos Saphety in the provider ranking. Their respective shares remain close, but the current participant-count gap confirms Axway's position in 10th place as of the reporting date.
